
We often live in our heads. Always thinking, planning. Join me for a Silent Retreat to gather the scattered mind and find peace and calm. We will do mindfulness meditation, light stretching and movements, and poetry reading. Optional for you to read a poem or an excerpt from a book that you find meaningful.
The retreat is non-religious, and you are encouraged to remain silent throughout the Retreat.

Agenda:
9am – Stretches. Brief explanation on mindfulness and how to sit. Mindfulness meditation.
10am – Mindful movement (exercises)
11am – Mindfulness meditation. Reading. Discussion / Q&A.
12pm – End
Notes:
1) Need yoga mat / exercise mat.
2) For the sitting meditation, you may sit on a chair / mat, aided by a pillow / cushion, whichever is comfortable for you.
3) Optional to switch on your video. In the spirit of supporting each other as a community, we encourage you to do so, and it might help you stay engaged.
4) If you wish, you may read a poem (your own or written by others) or an excerpt from a book / article / diary / song that you found meaningful eg Desiderata, Rumi, Gibran around topics like mindfulness, gratitude, love, silence etc.
